"While the world continued to turn, I made a choice to remain motionless. I came to understand something pivotal today, that amidst perpetual movement, some are merely stagnant, losing their way. While others opt to pursue the intangible, I deliberately chose to stay rooted and embrace the breeze. The winds are blowing, the change is coming. I am LaMia Michele
Today, I felt a gentle nudge within my spirit, a whisper from the Holy Spirit, guiding me to pivot and write a new story, all for the glory of the Most High. This inner calling resonated deeply within me, and I arose in high spirits, ready to share the words that God had planted in my heart.
“If I wanted to feel God’s kiss, I would feel for Him in the wind. While the world kept spinning, I decided to stand still. I realized that in constant motion, most are running in place while running out of place. While many choose to chase the wind, I made a conscious effort to stand still and feel the wind. The winds are blowing, feel the kiss of God.”
These words flowed from my heart, reflecting a profound realization, an inner intuitive nudge to pin them. So, in obedience I listened. Next, I felt guided to read a daily bible plan and it led me to Haggai 1:4-6. After, reading and digesting the words from the Prophet Haggai, I felt as if God was sitting next to me speaking directly into my ear. Loud and clear, I heard the message! The message solidified and confirmed everything that I felt in my Spirit as I rose today, 08/12/2024. I want it to be documented, signed and delivered so it will forever be engraved in stone.
I, too, have been busy creating castles but haven’t stopped to notice that they aren’t beautiful. I’ve planted much but reaped little, and I too earn wages from a full-time job, but my pockets are full of holes. It is time to rebuild God’s temple within me. God is forever answering our prayers if we are open to listen. Are you open to listening? Or has your expectation of God caused you to overlook the very answer that you are seeking?
In Haggai 1:4-6, the prophet Haggai conveys a message from God, questioning why the people are living in luxurious houses while His temple remains in ruins. This scripture urges us to reflect on our priorities. Are we focusing on material wealth and comfort while neglecting our spiritual duties? I believe that when God speaks on the temple, it is referring to our vessels, our physical bodies.
From a metaphysical perspective, this passage calls us to align our inner priorities with spiritual truths. The dissatisfaction and lack of fulfillment described in the verses reflect the inner emptiness that comes from neglecting our spiritual growth. True abundance and fulfillment come from dedicating ourselves to a greater purpose and restoring divine order in our lives.
As I stood still today, feeling the wind, the kiss of God, I realized the importance of rebuilding the inner temple. It is time to prioritize spiritual growth over materialism and seek true fulfillment in aligning with higher spiritual principles.
I felt a profound call to pivot and focus on rebuilding the inner temple within me! I wish that I could explain it another way, but this is my truth. It was a moment of clarity, reminding me that while the world may be in constant motion, true peace and purpose are found in stillness and spiritual connection. I also had to go within and ask myself what or who am I connecting to spiritually? What am I allowing to feed off my spirit or feed me spiritually?
I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your own life. Are you building castles that aren’t truly beautiful? Who are you trying to please? What are you seeking? What are you hiding from and are afraid to face or allow the world to see? Are you planting much but reaping little?
Is it time for you to rebuild your inner temple, to prioritize spiritual growth over materialism, and to seek the true abundance that comes from aligning with divine order.
Let’s embark on this journey together, standing still to feel the wind and reconnecting with our spiritual purpose. In doing so, we can experience the profound fulfillment and peace that only comes from a deep, spiritual connection with the Most High.
